[RS-ecology] Categorical Predictors in superClass function

When using the superClass function to create a classified raster map, is it
possible to specify that one of your predictor variables is categorical
(nominal/non-ordered)? I know the default algorithm for the superClass
function is random forest, which can handle categorical predictors, but I'm
not sure how to specify this, as the raster layer itself contains integers
1-4 specifying the category.
