At the Department of Geography, Working Group Environmental Informatics, 
we offer a position of a

Research Assistant (Postdoc)

at the earliest possible date for a limited period of 4 years if no 
qualifying periods are to be included and with the option of an 
extension after successful evaluation.

The tasks include scientific services in research and teaching, in 
particular in the exploration of cross-scale methods for biodiversity 
and environmental monitoring using field survey information and remote 
sensing data. Teaching subjects are related to remote sensing, GIS, data 
analysis and similar within B.Sc. and M.Sc. study programs as well as in 
teacher education. Administrative tasks encompass the co-management of 
the working group.
